QUESTIONS ABOUT THE INSPECTION PROCESS?
Here are answers to some of the questions homeowners and buyers commonly have before an inspection.
-
The time needed depends on the size, age, and condition of the home. When your inspection is scheduled, we can give you a better idea of what to expect for the property
-
You’re welcome to attend. Being there gives you an opportunity to see the home through the inspector’s eyes, ask questions, and better understand any conditions that are observed.
-
The inspection is a visual evaluation of the accessible systems and components of the home. This generally includes areas such as the roof, exterior structure, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, attic, insulation, ventilation, interior, windows, doors, decks and other accessible components.
-
Absolutely. Clear explanations are an important part of the Clearscope approach. If something is observed that you don’t understand, we want you to feel comfortable asking about it.
-
Finding an issue doesn’t automatically mean there is something seriously wrong with the home. The inspection helps you understand what was observed, what may deserve attention, and what you may want to discuss or investigate further before making decisions.
-
After the inspection, you’ll receive a detailed report documenting the conditions observed, including photos - where helpful.
